We have a choice to place our faith in Christ exclusively to overcome sin in our lives. Today Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss how Christ died on Calvary’s Cross to save us from sin, and not to save us in sin. In Romans 7, the Apostle Paul makes it clear that even a believer struggles with the flesh to try and overcome sin with self-efforts. We have a rest in Christ, when we appropriate what Christ has done on our behalf by faith; however, Brother Larson says we are never excluded from the battle and must always be aware that the sin nature can rise up if we shift our faith from solely trusting in Christ crucified where the flesh is properly subdued.
