Man is born dying because of sin; but it is God’s will that we be delivered from this. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read in chapter one of Galatians, studying the teachings of the Apostle Paul about the draw of sin. The panel discusses the escape that drugs and alcohol offer to the angry, bitter heart of lost mankind; only a relationship with Jesus Christ can satisfy what the heart is longing for. Man is trying to make another God, and the church is making another altar. Man begins to think like the world, before acting like the world. Brother Larson says man minus God is always running and searching for fulfillment in worldly things. It’s a search that will not end if man does not repent and accept Jesus Christ as their Savior.
