The Message Of The Cross - Sep. 4th, 2020
The Message of the Cross • 05-Sep-2020
When you come to Christ, you leave the culture of the world. If you’re not saved, don’t put it off for another second, as the Spirit of God is saying, it’s time. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss the doctrine of man and the giving of the law. The ceremonial law, civil law, and the moral law; all could be found in the Old Covenant as every lamb, bullock or goat offered up as a sacrifice on the altar typified what Christ would come to do on Calvary’s Cross. The death of Jesus Christ satisfied divine justice and atoned for all sin past, present, and future. Brother Swaggart shares how there maybe pleasure in sin, but only for a season, and then it turns into a bondage of darkness. Brother Swaggart says be careful if your devotion is in a religion and is not in having a relationship with Jesus Christ, our Redeemer. Wrongly, the religion of men can control every aspect of your life, which is also a bondage that Christ came to set you free from. It is no secret what God can do, what He’s done for others He’ll do for you; with arms wide open He’ll pardon you, it is no secret what God can do.
