Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss the inheritance we have in Christ. Living for God is the most wonderful work to be a part of with peace, love, and joy unspeakable and full of glory, but this is only a down payment for what we will receive when we get to heaven. With regards to those who are blind to the truth of God, Brother Joseph says a person must have a spiritual eyesight and a revelation of the finished work of Christ, because all too often, man does not want to be told they are guilty of sin. The light of Christ reveals man’s sinfulness, but pride keeps many from being exposed as he clings to a system of self works for his goodness. Brother Swaggart says but just one look will change everything; saying yes to the need for Christ as our Savior for sin and self, this unspeakable joy will be ours.
