Christ died on Calvary’s Cross so that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us. Today on the Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss our position in Christ and how we can have a holiness that wasn’t available in the Old Covenant. Brother Larson says righteousness is now available in totality in the finished work of Christ, and we don’t have to get nervous about that. Brother Swaggart says there is nothing more wickedly than an ungodly religion based on self-efforts. When our faith is anchored in Christ’s work at Calvary, the Holy Spirit will give us the desire, ability, and power source to be who He wants us to be; we can rest in Him.
