Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Ephesians 1:12 discussing the praise that is due to Christ and Him alone, for when man gives himself praise it offends God. We are to be a representation of what God intended us to be before the fall of man. He wants us to have the benefits for which He paid such a price. The product provided through the death of Christ is the value of the Cross. The believer must recognize what he or she has at redemption and then the sanctification process of the believer is an ongoing value of the Cross as well. The correct object of faith in Christ and Him crucified will allow the Holy Spirit to work on our behalf to bring us victory over sin and the powers of darkness that work to oppress the Christian.
