Man cannot keep the law of God; thus, Jesus Christ came and fulfilled it completely on man’s behalf. Today on The Message of The Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss the ransom that man owes but cannot pay. God sent His own Son Jesus to go to the Cross for us; He paid our debt. Christ came in the likeness of sinful flesh; He atoned for all sin, which made it possible for the Holy Spirit to abide in man who would only believe on Him. In Christ, we are justified; it’s a wonderful assurance. It defines our legal standing in Christ through faith. As believers, we are renewed from what we were to a new creation in Christ.
