Are you a church leader and struggling with sin? Do you fear how the church will react if your problem were to be made known? Today on the Message of the Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel look into the fall of a brother, and how it should be handled. In Galatians 6:1, Paul warns to look at yourself first, before reacting. Brother Joseph Larson reminds we are to forgive; and if the person repents, then we must restore. Brother Dave Smith says be careful who you seek out as a Spiritual doctor for that restoration. Brother Swaggart says divorce is one of the most misconstrued handlings in churches today. Brother John Rosenstern explains the core of the problem; where you failed wasn’t in the act itself, but where your faith was placed at the time of the sin is the true failure. Brother Josh Rosenstern reminds, if you are the Spiritual restorer, you should be bearing the fruit of the Spirit yourself; then you will address the situation correctly and be proper counsel. Brother Swaggart says good news; the sentence has been past, for all sin, Christ died!
