How does the Holy Spirit work in our lives? Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss sanctification in the life of a believer. The Cross, at salvation, is where the sanctification process begins in our lives. We must repent from our transgressions, and daily submit to His finished work. We must not look to self, but in humility realize that human effort cannot achieve sanctification on our own accord. Keeping our faith in Christ is the only way the Holy Spirit can change us into the image of Christ.
