He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 4:20 encouraging us through the story of Abraham that God follows through on what He says He will do. We can count on our fellowship with the Lord when we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ. The Word of the Lord will try us, like Joseph was tried in the pit and in the prison, all triggered by the betrayal of his own brothers. We must continue to believe God that He is a protective parent and He will bring to pass His will in our lives. We can trust Him; He is a good God. He will prove us to humble us, and to show forth what is in our hearts.
