Christ dying for the ungodly is proof of love immeasurable. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss God’s love towards us. Jesus Christ died for those who bitterly hated Him. There is an enmity between God and man, because of man’s sin. God cannot abide sin in any fashion, and sin in our lives will stop God from doing many things for us that He would otherwise do. The only remedy for sin is the Cross; there is no other remedy. Psychology is no remedy, education is no remedy, money is no remedy, anything we can think of is no remedy except the shed blood of Jesus Christ.
