Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and the panel discuss Daniel 9:20-21; reading about Daniel’s concern for the city of Jerusalem, the city that God has chosen to bear His name. Daniel was praying for the rebuilding of the city which had been torn to pieces. Brother John shares what his family experienced as Jews during the time of Hitler. When you look at Judaism today, it is so secularized as it was in Germany. Many Jews, then and now are seeking assimilation into society, hiding their Jewishness in order to survive in society, in order to be accepted by society. I know some Jews would disagree, but I’ve talked to enough that have come from that era that lived in Germany, relatives and families that would admit to this way of life, as was spawned by the evil deeds of Hitler to destroy the Jewish race.
