When we anchor our faith in the finished work of Christ, we will grow in the grace and the knowledge of the Lord. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:16 discussing what God wants to do in the believer’s life. At salvation, we are called to obedience to the faith. This is what obedience unto righteousness is all about. We are to place our faith into the process that God has put into motion for us when Christ died on Calvary’s Cross for all of lost humanity. We are either a slave to self, willpower, and sin or to Christ and His finished work. This is the only way to find victory over sin and walkout this Christian life as God had intended.
