Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss what the believer attains at salvation. When we say yes to Christ, we are washed, sanctified, and justified. God doesn’t say that we are maybe sanctified, down the line somewhere, or that we need to struggle toward it or try to obtain it. He said we are, present tense, and this is where, many in the church miss it. There is no need for some kind of Spiritual conniption in order to be sanctified, or we must do certain things, and then we are sanctified. The moment we are saved, and born again, at that moment we are sanctified. Brother Larson explains how maintaining our faith in Christ’s finished work at the Cross will allow the Holy Spirit to lead us in walking out what we have already be given. Bondages of darkness in our lives will continue to be broken, and we will walk in a victorious Christian life.
