The message of the Cross is a message of faith. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss sin studying the Book of Romans. The critics of justification can’t see how a guilty person is put in relationship with God initially forgiven of sin by faith, and then find victory over sin for a lifetime. God will change us for a lifetime because the Holy Spirit now lives with in us. Brother Watts says we must be anchored in the Cross for everyday living; revivals are wonderful but they can’t give victory for our Christian daily walks. The message of the Cross will bring together the truths of justification, sanctification and the moving of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
