The Holy Spirit will conform us to holiness when our faith is in Christ and the Cross. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel help the believer to understand that God’s grace is no a license to sin. Christ died to save us from our sin, not to leave us in it. We are to abide in Him and have dependence and reliance on what He did for us on a daily basis. We cannot work our way to a victorious Christian life; Christ accomplished everything we need at Calvary. When we rest in His finished work and ask the Lord to reveal the changes that need to be made in our lives, and then trust He will sanctify us through our daily walks. God will clean up issues we don’t even know are there.
