Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss Romans 3:26; to declare I say, at this time His righteousness, referring to God’s righteousness, which must be satisfied at all times, and is in Christ and only Christ. Trying to do things ourselves will not work, because God has already made a way for us to be justified by faith, to be sanctified by faith. This is the biggest problem with the church; justification cannot be done by human endeavor, it’s not possible, but we try it anyway. Romans is by far the most significant, overall view of what is expected, what the plan is, how the plan works. Christ is the plan. The gospels lay out the story of Christ, who He is, and what He did, and what His future plans are to come. The epistles then give us the details of the Christian walk.
