God is a promoting God. Today on A Study in The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel discuss how we can walk close to God, in victory over the world, the flesh, and the devil. Sin is not to have dominion in a believer’s life. Brother Swaggart says the only solution is the believer must keep their faith anchored in the finished work of Jesus Christ on Calvary’s Cross. Manmade systems, like psychology, cannot begin to defeat the power of darkness that attacks the Christian. In Daniel 3:30, we see three Hebrew boys, in faith, take a stand for God, and go from being thrown in a fire to an advancement in power by the king who tried to kill them. Brother Larson encourages us that faith wins every time.
