WHAT DOES A SHEPHERD DO?— Today Pastor Dale Usey preaches from Psalm 23:1, Colossians 1:15-20, and 1Thessalonians 4:16; beginning with the Psalm of David, the Lord is my Shepherd. Christ, our good shepherd, purchased us with his blood. We no longer belong to ourselves. What He did on the Cross was of the greatest value. Pastor Dale says be encouraged, He cares for us; and He knows right where we are. We must cast all our cares upon Him, for He will protect us. We can rest in Him. In Colossians 1:15-19, Pastor Dale reminds us of the many great characteristics of our great shepherd. For In Him, all fullness dwells; and He made peace through the blood of His Cross. Have no fear, He is more than able to take care of all our needs. We no longer belong to ourselves. We are His. His love for us is eternal.
