I KNOW THAT I CAN MAKE IT- What brings condemnation has already been condemned. Today at Resurrection Camp meeting, Pastor Joseph Larson reads 1 Corinthians 10:1-13 teaching on how the believer can learn from those who have gone before us. When we find ourselves in wilderness experiences, we must not be overthrown, as the Israelites were so many times. God is faithful to not suffer us more than we are able to bear without a way of escape. In the Old Covenant, God used fire to address the sin of complaining, challenging authority, and unbelief. Paul warns us to not do as the Israelites did, we must not have a victim’s mentality. Because of salvation, we can know what we are facing and how we should react to it. At the Cross, Jesus freed all of man from the debt we owe. When we know our debt has been paid, then our experience will be altered. We are common man with clinging vines of the fall, but at the Cross He changed our guilty verdict.
