THE VALUE OF THE CROSS- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Loren Larson reads Galatians 6:12-14 preaching on the price that was paid for God’s fallen creation. We must learn all the benefits of the Cross of Christ and what it produces in our lives. By faith, in His finished work alone, we are justified the moment we say yes to Him. Repentance equals innocence, and when we stumble, we can get back up, because He is a just God. At salvation, we are also sanctified, because the power of sin has been broken at Calvary. It’s not in what we do; but knowing we have been delivered, and by faith the Holy Spirit changes us into what God has already declared about us. At salvation, we’re baptized into Christ and freed from the Mosaic Law because it could only direct us and point us to be married to Christ. We are now under the law of Christ, and can live accountable to what it represents. We are of Christ’s, and not of this world. Because we are of flesh, this is why we must know the value we have. Christ’s death frees us, including oppression of the devil. Know what you have; a believer’s foundation is laid on Christ crucified alone, and in Him, our lives will see His glory fill the latter house. (Haggai 2:9)
