THE MAN WHOSE HAND STUCK TO HIS SWORD- Tonight at Crossfire, Pastor Jeconia Maasbach from The Blessing Church in The Hague, reads 2nd Samuel 23:9-10. Brother Maasbach shares Eleazar’s story and how it relates to our fight of faith, which sometimes becomes weary, and we think we are fighting alone. While Eleazar’s sword was stuck in his hand, the Sword of the Spirit is stuck in ours. The sword of the Spirit is the Word of God. When we find ourselves in the fight of our lives, the Word of God that is stuck in our hand, our mind, and our heart will get us through the battle. The scripture reminds us, Christ alone won our fight, now we can rest in knowing, “it is finished”.
