The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge. The good news is, Jesus Christ's death on Calvary’s Cross will save all who will believe on Him. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel agrees we must understand sin and the reality of hell to understand what Christ atoned for. Abusing the doctrine of grace has been a long-term goal of Satan. Brother Swaggart says anything that soft pedals sin is dangerous. The sinner must come to Christ through repentance. The gospel of grace deals with sin, and we must be aware of where we are. When we draw nearer to the Lord, it will expose the things in us that need to be changed, because we are relying on the finished work of Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit to renew us into the image of Christ. The light exposes that which is not of God.
