Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 8:16 discussing how the Cross is joy unspeakable and full of glory. Thank the Lord that we can know that we are His children, and we have assurance by the Holy Spirit of what’s to come. We don’t have to wonder if we are saved, or wonder if we are going to make heaven, for the Spirit will bear witness to our Spirit when we put our faith and our trust in Christ and Him alone. We can be confident that if we were to leave this earth today, we would be in the presence of the Lord. There is no insecurity in believing on what Jesus did at Calvary, for the privileges are too many to count.
