Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss how the Holy Spirit will convict a Christian when they get into a predicament that may not be an environment God would want them to be in. An emailer asked the question, with regards to serving alcohol, per someone’s request, that she provides home care for. The panel referred to Habakkuk 2:15; Sister Swaggart said she could not serve alcohol to someone. Brother Smith says the Bible is clear that God is not in favor of Christians drinking alcohol of any kind. He says even wine is not okay. Proverbs 20:1 says wine is a mocker and strong drink is raging. The panel discusses the importance of getting into God’s Word, and the Holy Spirit will lead and teach God’s truth to all who will believe on Christ. Brother Nations offers scripture from 1 Peter 1:13; it tells us to gird up the loins of our minds, keeping our minds on Jesus Christ.
