God’s timing is as important as His will; delay is not denial. The Bible says, though it tarry, wait for it. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss 1 John 5:14-15. Brother Donnie says we must keep our faith anchored in the finished work of Christ and seek and pray according to His will; this guarantees that He will hear the petitions we bring before Him. The panel responds to the frequent questions regarding the souls of Adam and Eve not making heaven. At the fall, God drove Adam and Eve out of the garden; they never repented of their sin, and were barred from returning. In Hebrews 11:4, the Faith Hall of Fame, starts with Abel, the names of Adam and Eve are not there. We must understand what IS said in God’s Word as much as what is not said. Brother Donnie says if Adam and Eve would have repented and gotten saved, it would have been the greatest testimony of grace; we would see it in the Word of God, but that fact is not recorded in the Bible.
