Jesus Christ died to save man from sin; He did not die to save mankind to continue in sin. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and panel discuss repentance in the heart, and how the Holy Spirit will work on the believer's behalf to rid us of bondages when our faith is anchored in the finished work of Christ. This does not mean, that because of our faith, we have a license to sin. When a person of faith sins, there should be a deep desire to repent in our hearts, and we ask God for forgiveness. Brother Donnie says, when the believer doesn't understand justification at salvation, they won't understand the grace of God. When we repent of our sin, we are a new creation in Christ Jesus.
