We should be known as the children of God. Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John 3:10; looking at how God acknowledges His children as a distinct body, a peculiar people. We should be recognized by our righteousness of God, which is impossible for the unsaved to exhibit. Because of free moral will, the believer can step away from the love of God and lose their way just as Judas did. Who did Jesus Christ come to save? The Lord came for all who are lost, for God so loved the world. Jesus Christ paid the debt of sin, on our behalf, at the Cross. The panel, in response to the many emails and phone calls, continues to clarify the confusion over water baptism, as it is an ordinance of God, but not a commandment. There is no salvation in water baptism; we are saved by grace, through faith.
