Today on Frances and Friends, Sister Swaggart and the panel discuss 1 John chapter three, encouraging believers of the confidence we can have when we are in Christ. The panel responds to an email about what determines salvation; asking, if a person does all the things that give the appearance of righteous living, will they make heaven? To make heaven, a person must be born again, and have truly given their heart to Jesus Christ. We cannot work our way into heaven, but can only be saved by believing on the finished work of Jesus Christ. The panel discusses the federal Equal Access Act that allows various religious freedoms for students in public schools with regards to attending bible clubs, holding events, and praying and reading scripture during non-class time. The doing of religion is an opiate; the panel discusses the desire of the flesh to do something for God, is often led by deceptive spirits to lead the believer into self-works.
