God forbid, that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. On today’s program Pastor Gabe is joined by Chad Mansur. In Galatians 6:12-14, the two discuss the only way we can overcome the world is by placing our faith exclusively in the Cross of Christ and keeping it there. We cannot boast in our own effort, because our own effort will come up short. Pastor Gabe says, if we are able to boast in what we do, then we are saying we do not need a Savior. The two explain self-righteousness; simply put, anytime we try to add personal effort to the salvation plan, we are in a sense, adding self-righteousness.
