Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart welcomes special guest, and JSM Spanish Interpreter, Wilson Abreu. Brother Gabe continues his study of Dispensations in Ephesians 1:9-10. Looking at the purpose of the law, God gave the Law of Moses for the people to have the definition of sin, and that it would guide man’s life; whether it be his personal life, as a nation, or religiously. God’s standard of righteousness was the Law, and while it defined sin, it did not give man the power to overcome sin. In reality, it showed man how incapable he was to keep the Law of God, and thus needed someone to keep it for him. Pastor Gabe says everything about the ceremonial law involving the Tabernacle and the Temple and the sacrificial system all pointed to the Finished Work of Christ; that being the only atonement for sinful man. The Dispensation of Law and the sacrificial system was a stop gap measure; it was a means for God to reveal Himself to His people until the Dispensation of Grace, shines light and understanding on the Cross of Christ.
