JESUS HEALS THE MAN WITH THE WITHERED HAND- Today on The Generation of The Cross, Pastor Gabriel Swaggart is joined by JSBC Professor Dave Watts, and Evangelist David Borg reading Mark 3:1-5 teaching on the healing power of Christ. Jesus said unto the man, which had the withered hand, stand forth. To the religious scribes, He said, is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath Day or do evil, to save life or to kill? They held their peace. When He looked around, they had anger, being grieved with the hardness of their heart, He said unto the man, stretch forth your hand. He stretched it out, and his hand was restored whole as the other. The pastors make the comparison, of the physical with the spiritual. When we think about this man, whose hand was injured and withered, it is symbolic of how sin in the life of a Christian injures and withers us, spiritually speaking.
