Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the energy exports of Russia, and where the bulk of Russian money comes from, rnatural gas and oil. Russia may be under sanctions from the West, because of the war in Ukraine, but they are most certainly not cut off from business deals with other countries. Brother Josh says contracts are being negotiated today for millions of barrels of oil to be purchased from countries all over the world. India has purchased two times as much as Russian oil as it would normally. The sanctions are making Russian oil trading at a much lower price than other countries, resulting in increased purchases. Brother Josh says, the war in the Ukraine will continue as Russia is in no way being hindered by the sanctions. Brother John says, if anything we are seeing a greater Eastern alliance through these business dealings, which could hurt the United States even greater down the road.
