Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the topic of requiring identification to vote. The proposed Election Integrity Act of 2021, in Georgia, is trying to address ballot harvesting and mail in voting fraud by requiring voters to show an ID. Brother John says, the argument is, this will hurt the African American voter; many saying, they do not have an ID, and requiring an ID would cause them great burden. The controversy is resulting in the MLB All Star Game being moved from Georgia to Arizona, just to make a point. Brother John says, Major League Baseball, doesn’t pay taxes, just as charities don’t, but charities are limited on giving a political stance or opinion, but the MLB and the NBA are not? Brother Josh says, athletes have become public preachers. Brother John encourages all voters to go read the Election Integrity Act, as it creates a fair, clear, and comprehensive voting system.
