Thirty-six people have died due to the raging fires, as a hurricane off the coast is causing significant winds that are fueling the blaze. Sixteen members from the U.S. House of Representatives are standing behind one of Finland’s members of parliament who is facing hate speech charges because she spoke out against her own church for backing a pride parade. She was acquitted in March of 2022, but the parliamentary member is now facing charges in an appeal trial this month. Brother Josh says Americans need to take note, this demonization of the legal and justice system in Finland could soon be what we see here in the United States, all for standing up for our freedom of speech and religion.
