Today on Insight, Josh Rosenstern discusses the Inflation Reduction Act under the Biden Administration that addresses more funding for climate change and the Medicare program provisions. As of March of this year, 66-million people in the US are enrolled in Medicare, with 51-million in Part-D, which covers medications. The Biden Administration is looking to name the first ten prescription drugs that will come under medicare provision. Negotiations will be ongoing to add more medications to the Medicare coverage list, with 15 more by 2027 and an additional 30 by 2028. The number will climb to some 100 different medications in the years to come. Brother Josh says statistics show the US spends three times more than what other countries spend on healthcare.
