Today on Insight, John and Josh Rosenstern discuss the World Economic Forum and its focus on climate change. Brother Josh shares a manifesto of sorts from Europe’s largest electric company, as it pushes for Europe to be totally electric by 2040. It states that renewable generation projects will be turbo charged, and there will be a scaled up effort for green hydrogen for those hard to decarbonize industries. The goal here is to reduce the use of fossil fuels. Another goal, stated in the document, to see climate efforts increase with research and development for more climate solutions to be net carbon neutral. Brother Josh says he sees these efforts resorting to expensive case studies and experiments that will fall to government compliance paid for by the taxation of the people. On another note, in an effort to reduce meat consumption, the European Union has legalized the manufacturing of bugs for food.
