Nothing of value can come out of a sinful experience. Today on A Study In The Word, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read Romans 6:20 and 21, discussing the conversion in the life of a believer; for we had no fruit in those things, which we are now ashamed. This means, it is impossible for there to be any good fruit in sin, for the end of those things is death. If the believer refuses to look to the Cross, but rather looks to something else regarding his sanctification, domination by the sin nature is going to be the result, and spiritual death will be the conclusion. The Cross is the only answer for sin. Jesus defeated every power of darkness, and atoned for all sin on the Cross.
