Upcoming elections, as early voting begins in many states. Brother Josh reminds us of the impact of our voting even in the state and local races, as our legal system has more and more say in what is going on in our country through the voice of judges. Looking at Senate Bill 12 in Texas, which was passed to protect children under the age of 18 from shows that are rude and crude in nature, particularly addressing drag shows. But after a LGBTQ+ lawsuit filed against the legislation, a US District judge struck down the bill, saying it infringes on the rights of 1st amendment protection and chills free speech for all. This bill would have protected the innocence of children.
