LORD TEACH US TO PRAY- Tonight in the final service of Family Camp 2023, Pastor Joseph Larson reads Luke 11:5-13 preaching on how the believer can truly experience Christ in their life. Do we truly know Him, or do we just know of Him? At salvation, we experience a new life in Christ because of His death. In prayer we can go to Him, any time, like a child asking of his father. Brother Joseph points out the importunity of the man who needs bread in the middle of the night. When we ask of our Heavenly Father, we are encouraged to ask for His will, again and again. It may be a “not now” answer, but He is a good Father to His children who asks for His will in their lives. Pastor Joseph says we can be persistent with God, for if He has called us, He will not change His mind. The Holy Spirit will help us in prayer; and we can be sure, God hears our prayers. He knows our concerns. His timing and His path can be trusted when our faith stays anchored in His finished work. Pastor Joseph encourages us, if we keep believing God, we will find our solution, and it will not only be for us, but it will also be for another. He cares for us.
