CAREFUL HOW YOU CARRY TRUTH- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Crossfire Associate Pastor Shaun Murphy reads 2nd Samuel 6:1-11 teaching on the importance of being obedient to follow God’s Word accordingly. When the Ark of God, was being brought in on a new cart, Uzzah died when he touched it, as he tried to keep it from falling to the ground. While the intention to steady the Ark of God, and bring it in, was a good thing, it was not done as God said. He said it was to be transported on poles carried on the shoulders of the priests. As believers, we must remember that cultural norms do not equal God’s standards. We must have reverence for God’s glory, and we must carry God’s truth as the Bible tells us; if not, we will create our own cart of arrogance. God meets man at the blood of Jesus Christ, and then the Spirit of God leads and guides us to reach people with His truth. As we grow in truth, we will meet the lost wherever they are, and they too can experience the glory of God.
