JESUS WALKING ON THE WATER- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Missionary Henry Smith from Guayaquil Ecuador reads Matthew 14:22-23 as he shares his testimony of how the Lord told him to begin a school in the slums of Ecuador. He shares how he was a Jonah and took his time with the tall order, but in the midst of personal doubts and fears, God always provided and made a way, miraculously. Brother Smith reminds us of the story of Peter having to get out of the boat to walk on water to Christ. Peter doubted and started to sink, but when he called out to Jesus, the Lord stretched out His hand. Believers too must relinquish self and trust, and believe in what God is calling us to. When we step out of our comfort zone, and out of our familiarity, the miraculous will happen. The Lord will always help in our time of need. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. God calls us to show His bigness in our smallness. He will forever be glorified.
