THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT- God’s greatest gift to a lost world is salvation. Today at Family Worship Center, Pastor Donnie Swaggart reads Acts 19:1-7 teaching on the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues. Everything Jesus did, and all the miracles performed through His Apostles, was done through the anointing of the Holy Spirit. There is no power of darkness greater than the power of the Holy Spirit. The Spirit is in us to control every aspect of the believer’s life. The five symbols of the Holy Spirit in the Word of God are fire, wind, water, the dove, and oil. Brother Donnie says, we can be sure, tongues is the initial physical evidence of the baptism with the Holy Spirit. The Spirit, will do many things in our lives, including empowering us for service and drawing us ever closer to the Lord through our praise and worship.
