ARE YOU A DISCIPLE OF CHRIST? - The criteria for a disciple in Jesus’ day, still applies to discipleship today. Tonight, at Family Worship Center, Pastor Mike Muzzerall reads Matthew 10:37-39 teaching on discipleship. The first criteria, our love for Jesus must surpass anything else in our lives. When our relationship with Him is first, and foremost, all of our other relationships will be better. All love of things, money, family relationships, and positions must fall below our love of Christ. Jesus expressed the ultimate love by laying down His life on Calvary’s Cross for all of humanity. Scripture tells us to pick up our Cross daily, which means we pick up the possibility that we might suffer for Christ. The disciples of old, had yet to understand the beautiful side of Calvary, but today we do. When our lives are hidden in Christ, He makes everything new.
