THE WORD OF GOD ALIVE- Tonight, at Family Worship Center, Pastor Jimmy DuPree reads 2 Peter 1:3 teaching on the direction given to us in the Word of God. Looking at the Sermon on The Mount, Jesus gives us moral, and ethical, guidelines. Dr. DuPree reminds us, when we say yes to Christ, our names are written in the Book of Life, and because of His finished work, His character will be seen in us. Under the New Covenant, we have a better covenant than that of the old. Christ came, and through His death at Calvary, He fulfilled the law of old so that lost humanity might be saved. We are to hide His Word in our hearts. The Word of God will always lead us to who Jesus is and what He has done for us.
