SUFFER WELL- Tonight at Family Worship Center, Pastor Paris Ragan reads Genesis 50:18-21 teaching on the suffering that occurs in the life of a believer. Looking at Joseph’s sufferings, we see how he went from a pit to a palace. The Apostle Paul embraced a life of suffering because he had hope. Jesus was no different. He had a promise, that through suffering well, He would bring salvation to the lost. Pastor Paris warns us to not love this world too much; for we have the same promise of hope, to look for a heavenly city whose maker is God. We can suffer well on this earth, because we know we’ll have a glorious future with God for eternity. He paid for all our pain on Calvary’s Cross, and it is to His glory when we only believe.
