The believer’s protection from sin is faith in the Cross of Christ alone. Reading Ephesians 5:3, the panel discusses what faith in Christ, i.e., the New Covenant, takes care of all power of sin by the supernatural power and working of the Holy Spirit in a life. Externals, what we do, cannot bring a change of the heart. God works on our lives internally, in our hearts. Holiness and true living comes from the heart when our faith is properly anchored in the finished work; this guarantees the Holy Spirit to work on our behalf and change us into the image of Christ. God forbid that we should glory save in the Cross of Jesus Christ.
