You shall not surely die; those words of Satan, through the serpent, changed the course of man forever. Today on The Message of The Cross, Brother Swaggart and panel discuss how God had intended for man to live forever. Adam and Eve’s trial was ordained by God for their spiritual development; however, God did not desire for them to be tempted to the destruction of their faith. Brother Smith says Satan is still using the same tactics today. Satan's deception would lead you to believe there is no problem with sin in your life. The Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God; and accepting Jesus Christ breaks the chains of the bondage of sin. Brother Swaggart says, sadly, even the modern church is neglecting Jesus Christ as the only answer to the sin problem of man.
