The panel discusses works and manmade laws; these contradict grace and faith in Christ, which is what takes care of the sin problem of man. Through Christ, we are delivered from a system of works. Christ’s death on Calvary’s Cross paid the debt for our sins, which is a debt we cannot pay. The Holy Spirit then brings the benefits of Calvary to our lives when we believe on His finished work and that alone.
