Today on The Message of the Cross, Evangelist Jimmy Swaggart and panel read in the 7th chapter of Romans teaching how the believer is to have freedom from the dominion of the sin nature. Believers do not have the ability within themselves to defeat sin. We all sin, and fall short of the glory of God. Our faith must be in the finished work of Christ alone, for there is no other way to victory in this life. Christ paid the price on Calvary’s Cross for all of man’s iniquities. We must repent of our sin and depend on this alone.
